A Journey in Polaroid
Following Polaroid’s announcement that they would be closing their factories, we set off on a year long journey to capture the landscapes of India in this soon to be missed medium. It was a journey of dramatic contrasts united by a timeless beauty, a search not to see the monuments, but to understand the people, their way and their past. From the grandiose mountain-scapes of the high Himalayas and the thriving urban landscape of the Northern Plains, to the gentle calm of the Southern villages, the diversities of this landscape are captured side by side in the level field of the Polaroid gaze.
